Engineering Community Seeks Nominations for the 2008 Ontario Professional Engineers Awards
Nominees who excel in engineering are eligible for Engineering Medals, while those who have made significant contributions to society generally or their communities specifically can be nominated for Citizenship Awards.
Awards are presented in the following categories:
Engineering Medals
* Engineering Excellence
* Research and Development
* Management
* Entrepreneurship
* Young Engineer
Citizenship Awards
* For exceptional contributions to society in general
* For social betterment within an engineering context
Nominations should be submitted in confidence and without the nominee's knowledge by the February 29, 2008 deadline. Self nominations are not allowed.

Nominations should contain no more than 20 pages of text (clippings, etc. to support the nomination are excluded) and be in an 8.5" x 11" format (odd-sized supporting documents should be enlarged or reduced to these dimensions), and should be submitted to: Ontario Professional Engineers Awards, c/o Awards Committee, Professional Engineers Ontario, 25 Sheppard Avenue West, Suite 1000, Toronto, Ontario M2N 6S9, Attention: Rose Pirone, CHRP, Director, Human Resources and Volunteer Management.
The awards will be presented at a gala celebration to be held in November 2008.
