Our Vision

Are you looking for a job?

Our vision has 2 key components:

Effective Networking

Helping Engineers of Romanian origin with advice towards PEO certification and employment


Effective Networking takes many forms. For us, our focus is two fold:

creating opportunities for AREC members to effectively communicate among themselves (networking)

better communications of the benefits and value of being an AREC member to current members and potential members

AREC is a network of people. It is a platform for contacts between students, engineers, industry and society. The network gives support to students and engineers. It opens borders and it opens minds. It aims at helping to understand cultural differences and at developing one’s personal and professional skills. Our goal is to make positive changes in our lives and to support each other through those changes.

Helping Engineers of Romanian origin with advice towards PEO licensing and engineering employment is the objective of AREC, and our mandate is to promote the prestige of the engineers of Romanian origin in Canada.

As a member of AREC you'll have access to:
- the experience and expertise of our members through various networking opportunities
- PEO seminars/ VIP meetings/ Recruitment Agencies seminars
- Dinner/ Gala
- job search capabilities, resume and interviewing tips from career experts, and other career services online - thousands of resources online where you can perform your own research

The great part is that you don't have to force it; If you're open to the possibilities, they will often present themselves naturally to you.
